Iceland pop star BJORK is training to fulfil her ambition of sailing around the world.
The singer is currently taking a 10-week course to captain a 30 ton boat, and when completed she will embark on an epic journey with her boyfriend MATTHEW BARNEY and their three-year-old daughter ISADORA.
She says, "It has always been my ambition. I have homes all over the place at the moment - Iceland, England and France - but I'd love for my home to be a boat so that I can take it wherever I go.
"The course I'm taking tests whether I have the balls to do this. So I'm having to work hard and behave myself. My life's always changing - I'm constantly looking for new things. I'm never still. My theory is that life on a boat could be great."

i was thinking the same thing. oh man...i cant wait...but i hope she does that after she puts out an album that sounds like her "nameless" songs. wishful thinking since im the only one that absolutly adores nameless

Of course, this makes my idea of making a documentary about my finacee' and I finding her even more interesting. Now we'll have to look for her on the open seas!

12/07what path is she taking. Some parts of the world are not safe you know.
I know lets put a GPS unit on the boat and send the data to a web site so we can track her progress. At the same time lets put a live video feed on the aft of the boat pointing forward. Then we can see where the boat is and what's going on on deck. Now that would be cool. -

12/08That's exactly how we've been thinking! It could deffinitely make for an interesting climax to catch sight of her boat.
We figured that the journey to find and meet her would be like a pilgimage; the destination would be less important than the actual trip. It could be funny, romantic, etc...Sort of like a documentary I saw years ago about a physicist and his friend trying to get to Tuva; they never got there, because the physicist died, but the process of trying to make the journey was very entertaining. -
