ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh it was amazing
just this wild visceral adventure in the whole building
my fave was cremaster 5 but i haven't seen the whole series, just cremaster 1 and 5 - clips from 2 and 3 : when i was in college, we studied him in my art from 1945 to present course....... i was equally confused and seduced by his imagery then....... as i am now!
for those of you in sf, drawing restraint (1 thru 9) will be opening at the sfmoma in the fall 2006 : i'm guessing that not only matthew barney will be here, but also miss bjork, as it will be the sf premier of the film and the series.
i've heard you can also find the cremaster cycle online for undercover downloading if you know where to look. i'm awaiting my dvd series from a friend of a friend of a friend..... one of those, you know?
